MAKE A DONATION

Since 1969, Jewish Student Chaplaincy Scotland has only been able to provide crucial support for Jewish students at Scottish universities through the kind generosity of community donations. In the past three years we have seen a significant increase in Jewish student activity in Scotland. Numbers of students we serve have tripled in Edinburgh, which has now become one of the most popular choices for Jewish students across the UK, and doubled in St Andrew's and Glasgow. Shabbat dinners, weekly bagel lunches, social activities, and holiday celebrations regularly attract large numbers of students, and especially in the three main campuses in Edinburgh, St Andrews and Glasgow.

Now more than ever, with unprecedented reports on the rise in antisemitism on campus  Jewish chaplaincy services are needed to grow our future leaders, educate students about Jewish heritage, and serve as support to signpost students toward financial, health and wellbeing services in the community when they are far from home. The chaplains are also positive role models for not only Jewish students but for other young families in Scotland.
